Inspired by the Classics
We started with two of our favorite hardware phasers: one, a legendary ‘70s stompbox, the other, a cult-classic ‘90s digital rack. We meticulously modeled both to exacting precision, then fused them together. The result? A powerhouse phaser that gives you the character of both originals while offering even more versatility, and depth than either can achieve on their own.
Introducing Endless Mode
But we didn’t stop there. We asked ourselves, What if a phaser never changed directions? Enter Endless Mode, a Shepard tone-modulated phaser that creates the auditory illusion of endlessly rising or falling motion. This unique mode injects instant energy and tension into your track, delivering an effect that feels like it’s constantly evolving.
Grit, Texture, and Character
Of course, phasers truly shine when paired with sounds that have grit and texture, so we dug into our vault and emulated one of the most iconic early sampling keyboards ever made. Its signature weight, punch, and digital grime are now at your fingertips. For even more options, we’ve added a digital decimator and an analog-modeled transformer saturation preamp, giving your signal the perfect balance of warmth, bite, and vintage texture.
Enhance Your Sound
To complete the package, we’ve included the Enhance section. A suite of additional tools designed to add depth, character, and polish. This includes two mono-compatible stereo expansion modes for pushing your sound even wider, a Retroize tone control for dialing in unique vintage color, and “Candy”, a high-frequency stereo exciter that brings an extra touch of shimmer and sparkle.
